When an examination or testing may be needed
Bring any test results you already have. A clinician may discuss additional testing or an examination when the information is unclear or symptoms are concerning.
Discussing treatment
Some higher-risk people may benefit from antiviral treatment started early in the illness. Eligibility, medicine interactions and the clinical history matter. A video visit does not mean a particular antiviral will be prescribed.
