When an examination or testing may be needed
A flu or COVID-19 test may help clarify the cause. Symptoms alone do not always tell these illnesses apart. A clinician can explain whether testing would change your care.
Discussing treatment
Flu treatment may include antiviral medicine for an eligible patient, particularly when assessed early. Antibiotics do not treat the flu. Treatment recommendations and any prescription depend on the clinical evaluation.
When to get care in person
Get emergency help for severe trouble breathing, persistent chest pain or pressure, new confusion or inability to stay awake. Do not put off urgent care to finish an online booking.
Before your visit
